Wicked — Team KiteLife at SPI Kite Fest

Our closing routine at the 2022 South Padre Island Kite Festival in Texas, and our strongest performance of the weekend: a fully planned and choreographed routine to GRiZ’s “Wicked.” It runs about six minutes.

Six pilots flew Kite Forge Djinn FV quad line kites, in flight order: John Barresi, Sari Becker, Eli Russell, Sara Russell, Jim Doman and Brett Marchel.

Posted by Brett Marchel. For the freestyle side of the same weekend, see Before I Go.

We flew the same routine again at Kite Party 2023 in Huntington Beach, California.
