“Wicked” at Kite Party

Team KiteLife flying our fully planned and choreographed routine to GRiZ’s Wicked at Kite Party 2023 in Huntington Beach, California. It’s the same routine we flew at the 2022 South Padre Island Kite Festival.

Watch closely and you’ll see Eli drop one of his handles mid-flight and somehow recover it without his kite falling out of the sky. We just kept going through the routine. Truly amazing.

Pilots: Eli Russell, Sara Russell, Geoff Hutton, Jim Doman, John Barresi and Meshelle Sharples. Video posted by Geoff Hutton.
